What is a document number?
It is a consecutive number that is printed on the transaction slip by the speedpoint (POS machine).
It is also an identifying number printed on manual vouchers.
Why do I have to sign an indemnity form?
The indemnity form should be signed for a miscellaneous card which is used for non-operating vehicle expenses and is not covered by normal lost card insurance as it can be used on any vehicle.
Why should I phone merchants to retrieve my EDC slips?
NedFleet does not receive speedpoint copies but will assist the client with the merchant’s contact details.
Will the vehicle history change when the registration number changes?
No. All the history remains with the vehicle.
What is a Billing account number, and do I need one?
The billing account number is linked to the cardholders’ bank account number for the purposes of debit orders and payments.
What is a registration date?
It is the date on which the vehicle was first licensed and registered.
What is the tyre pressure of a specific vehicle’s make and model?
Refer to the owner’s manual (Alternatively, investigate and inform the client once the information is available).
Why are some document numbers long while others are short?
Short numbers are speedpoint transaction (electronic). Long numbers (8 digits) are NedFleet vouchers (manual).
